The plcLib – live environment allows interactive development and testing of simple PLC-style programs in a Web-based development environment. The resulting code may be downloaded to a range of low-cost microcontroller-based systems, provided they support the Arduino IDE.

There are lots of pre-created examples for you to try and adapt, and you can even create your own timing diagrams as a visual record of their operation. Options are available to load or save your own files, locally, so you won’t lose your work.

Extensive documentation is available from the Help menu, including a Quick Start, User Guide, Reference Manual and Frequently asked Questions.

An associated WordPress blog will discuss topics of interest to plcLib users. It will also explore new and innovative applications related to development of smart systems, based on PLC-style programming.
